Down side of using a Motobatt... doesn't bother me at all but wouldn't be hard to cover.

Spray it with some low gloss black spray paint. I think it looks good as it.  Nice looking bike! Would love to have a nice 80-81 DT175. I did have a 81 DT125 once.
