Oil Pump was created by DLongRT1/360
Recently purchased a 1972 Yamaha 360 RT2 enduro as it came with the oil pump removed and being run on pre-mix. Would like to get an oil pump back installed and running on this bike. What pumps will fit? The part number I believe is 275-13101-03. No where to be found. I was given a pump with the bike, but I do not think it is the correct one, It does have red paint on it and plate has an R1. Would post pics but have not figured out how to do it (old guy) and rally do not like imgur and Photobucket requires a monthly fee. Normally would be able to just post photos from my computer album. I did see a 1972 DT250 pump for sale no paint on it or part number of course. Does the DT 250 pump work with the 360 RT2? Tried to e-mail Deet for some info but got no reply. Thanks for any help. David

You need to use a 3rd party site like imgur for pics. Welcome to the club, hopefully someone will be answering your oil pump question soon.

The 360 pump has a higher output than the 250. Also the drive shaft has to match the gear in the pump. Best solution is to send what you have to DEET and have him rebuild the pump and confirm the driveshaft and pump is for a 360.

DLONG. I'm stuck on Google Photos just because I'm to lazy to try anything else. I haven't got past just posting an image link but works easily. Or I make a image folder I think it is on there if I have multiple pics so the one link brings the folder up. I had Photobucket for years till they wanted money. Had a lot of pics up there which I think "hope" i off loaded but my computer is a mess haha & probably didn't name them. I also use YouTube for videos to link here although think it comes up live so I guess taking up room which won't my intention at the time. Sorry, not sure where I was going with that--waffling on.

Thanks, RT325. I will try to figure it out as posting photos is really necessary in this forum. Plus, I could show my bike off

. Of note is the fact that the bike came with what I believe is the tank off a DT175 or 125 ( nicely painted with decals to match the silver RT2 ) as the petcock is too near the engine fins and holds less than 2 gallons. Purchased a really nice original tank though off eBay in great shape. No dents or dings and the inside is perfect. Nice gas cap also just needs a new gasket kit which I have. Wish I knew of someone who does nice paint jobs on these tanks. Any recommendations? Anway does DEET still rebuild oil pumps? I tried to e-mail him and get no reply. Thanks again.

Thanks, Ht1 kid. Actually, I did use This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. No reply. By the way my second bike was a 1970 Yamaha 90 enduro Ht1. Loved that bike and rode to and from school throughout junior high.
Note pics of the oil pump that was given to me from owner I purchased the 360 from. I do not believe it is the correct pump off this bike. I believe it came off a 72 Yamaha CS5 as it matches the parts diagram, and a new one is on eBay exactly the same with part number 293-13101-00

At the swap meet I went to today in York, PA I met Tim Rains of 2Brothers Painting. He had 3 gas tanks on display. Beautiful. Plus I have on 4 of my Enduros fenders, tanks and headlights done by him. Exceptional quality.

Also the pulley on your pump is hard to see all the markings on the outer perimeter. There should be only a raised pyramid. Yamaha Bulletin # 394 shows the markings.
