CT3 rear light lens originality. was created by Fozzy500

Hi
My rear lens has the following molded into it.....
'VICTOR LY-1 DOT SAE LST-74 MADE IN USA'.
So i assume not original. But could this have been an official replacement/upgrade (maybe the 74 is 1974) or is it simply a knock off part used to replace a broken original?

Original said "Stanley" on it from what I remember.

Confirmed that original was a Stanley and said "Made in Japan".

There are Victor lenses on sale on ebay...  appears to be a quality aftermarket replacement lens.  I found several other NOS and brand new manufacture aftermarket lenses for sale as well....  kind of surprising after all these years.

Thanks for responses. Yes it seems odd to me  that there was a USA made pattern part.
