SC500 crankcase air leak

SC500 crankcase air leak was created by MEAW

Has anybody out there encountered an air leak through the screw hole in the crankcase behind the ignition stator requiring the screw to be coated in Yamaha bond as per Yamaha bulletin 318? I cannot see anywhere in that hole where the air can enter the crankcase oil passage. Just going to play it safe and do it anyway.
