I can live with it as is and it did pass state safety inspection. Just trying to get it up snuff. Everything else seems fine, with exception of the handlebar. It appears to be about 1/4 in out of true, looking at the crossbar in relation to the bar clamps.

I ordered the 6v-12v flasher off eBay that said for CT3.

I wonder if you hooked up a 6 volt battery charger on low amps maybe 2 amp and see what it does when flashing

Since your tail light or brake light doesn't dim even when your turn signals light up you can do what Ht1kid recommended and see if it gets them to flash or blink faster. I've done that many times testing the original Yamaha flashers. Or buy a 6v 2 prong electronic flasher sold now days. Most likely they will blink faster then.

I did hook a 6v battery charger at 2 amps with engine running, and no change. Went to 6 amps on charger, and no change. I’ll try the new flasher when it arrives.

thanks all

Wouldn't need engine running to test blinkers with the charger connected. Just saying--!!.

Hooked up th charger with bike not running. 2 amp, 4 amp, and 6 amp charging rates. None changed the lights.

Got the 6v / 12v two prong flasher in the mail. Hooked it up in place of the stock one. The lights flash quickly now. However I did notice with engine running in neutral that when left turn is flashing, turn indicator light and neutral light flashing alternately. Weird.

I also get "turn indicator light and neutral light flashing alternately" with an aftermarket 2 prong flasher so not sure if that is the cause or not.

Oh well. The turn signals flash now. I can live with it , if it is doing no harm.
