Anyone know what the issue might be and how to fix it ?
speedo reads okay upto 30mph then shoots round to max until slowed down again.

Maybe 30 MPH is when the Flux Capacitor kicks in.
30 MPH = 1.21 gigawatts.

That would be nice !
I took it apart, turns out the threaded boss where the cable screws on was slightly distorted, causing the magnetic rota to rub on the upper needle part. Gave it a little tweaking in the vice and all seems good again. Drill not fast enough now
