What seats are these from? was created by Youngdrakeo

Hi all

i found these two seats while hunting for mt AT3 build.

the shorter one looks to be the correct one as the base and length match my Ct3 seat.

the longer seat also fits and bolts up fine.
i want to use the longer one as the base is less rusty..
did these bikes come out with different seats depending on what part of the world they wore released?
Finding a new seat cover might be hard.Hi all

Yes, US models got more of a "single seat" where JDM and some other countries had a longer seat... usually with a passenger grab strap about in the middle... should be able to find provisions for the grab strap on seat if strap has been removed.

(I read once that Japan required 2 person seating and the grab strap on all motorcycles)

Covers should be available for either

I would guess LT2,3 the hinge is spaced further apart for the exhaust tab on the frame

Is the seat the same size as your CT1?
