RT3 Tire Pressure was created by dubepj
Ordered new tires for my new to me 1973 RT3. Owner's manual says 13lbs. front and16 lbs.rear. Seems low to me but I'm used to street bikes . Does that sound right to you folks??

On my RT3 regular riders I have 32PSI. I ride only on the street.
The hours spent riding my Enduros is not deducted from my life span.

Sounds right for what's in the manual. For trail riding they recommend even less! I run 20 PSI in front and maybe 25 in the rear as a compromise between the manual and modern tires. I weigh about 200 lbs.

I'm running the 13 front and 16 back on my DT2 with new (modern) tires. I'm riding only on the road and the bike handles just fine at the manuals recommended pressures. I weigh 150 pounds.
