High beam indicator was created by gassytroll

I'm having trouble removing the burnt out indicator bulb. What is the proper technique?

Use a tight straw over the end...push down and twist.

For jiggered bulbs, which might also be rusted in, I have carefully broken the bulb glass and used some narrow ended pliers to grab the metal part of the bulb and push down and twist this to remove. I've found that the bulbs can be awkward buggers to remove at the best of times.

Just be careful & wear a leather glove. Or piece of fuel hose over the glass to push down & turn.
