Anything work better than a B8ES? was created by EnduroDan

So, I just bought a box of NGK B8ES plugs, and of course after the purchase I was wondering if there is another plug anyone is running for their CT1B or similar bike that seems to work better.  I looked at the spark plug table and saw that B8ES covers a lot of bikes- I'm just wondering if anyone has found something new and/or better that has come out.

Dan I run Autolite 4054 = b8es  in my CT1C
MarkT recommend the autolite and I think they
are a better plug Amazon usually has them

I have used the NGK iridium plugs in my CT2 since 2017. Seemed to stop any plug fouling issues in my case, Never needed to bring the second plug into play since fitting. Not checked but I think the NGK part no is BR8E1X. Sure someone will have a reason not to use them but Ive not found one yet.

Plugs cop the blame a lot when the fault is somewhere else & the end result is a fouled plug--just saying.

My bikes usually run pretty good but I haven't fouled a plug in probably 20 years now...  I think the biggest difference is the unleaded fuel...  lead is a metal and the deposits are conductive.  Both cars and bikes seem to go a LOT longer on plugs since the switch to unleaded in my estimation

Yup.  Remember my Yam FS1E moped when I was 16.  Plug whiskering was a real thing back then.  Once a week.I would get a misfire, followed by a cut.
Plug out at side of road. Push a thumbnail in the plug gap to displace the metallic bridge between the electrodes, plug back in and on my way again within 60 seconds and a burned thumb...
