At the rear mounting where it uses two bolts is it retained with a bolt and nut, or does it have the square nuts welded to the bracket like a 72 up? It was missing on the 71 I just got and I have both kinds in my parts stash. Parts diagrams are kind of vague on it. Thanks, Dennis

My '70 has thru bolts with nuts. No sure if the '71 is different?

Thanks Mark. The extra I have is off of a 70 parts bike that I have. I think I need to
use the one with the welded on nuts on the 71. May have to poke around at mid-Ohio 
next week and see what I can find out.
