Hi everyone,

I need someone to repair my speedometer unit if possible. It makes a clicking sound once in motion but if rolled backwards, it doesn't make that sound. I know there are a few of you who live near me that can fix these but if anyone can help repair my speedometer for a good price, that would be great!!! I know there is a Yamaha land business that deals with fixing these old bikes all the time but I think that is with ASCO or DEET???

DEET does indeed rebuild meters and they come out great. There is an eBay seller named "vintagemt1" that apparently rebuilds some meters. I see he does them for '68 DT1s and '71 RT1s.

System won't let me post a link.
