Salisbury Plain and UK TET was created by Pete-RT1

Agop and I are hitting the road and trails on 6th June (weather permitting, forecast looks great).
Plan is to head from Bracknell to Compton then onto Marlborough via The Ridgeway and other trails.
From Marlborough we can pick up the Trans European Trail (TET) and head down to Salisbury Plain for some trails.
We plan to camp the first night south of Salisbury, Gr8uncleAl if you're around we could pop in and say hi or have a pint locally.
From there we will be following the TET route as best we can, heading south west until Exeter, then cutting north and looping back to Marlborough then home exploring on the way.
Four days and three nights away (hopefully a bed & breakfast is in the plan) should mean a steady 100 miles per day.
I don't know what to expect from Salisbury onwards, but that's the point of exploring for me, hopefully plenty of trails and not too many roads.
Last weekend I loaded up my kit onto The Greenie and had a great test ride, so I'm happy the bikes will be up to the task.
Will let everyone know how we get on, wish us luck

Pete,
A UK guy on the SCR950 forum posted this picture and said he took it for me when he was out for a ride recently. I'm thinking this might have been you!

I attached a screenshot of his post on the SCR950 forum. He goes by JRX but I don’t know his actual name. I also posted a photo of his black SCR950 in case you ever cross paths again and want to introduce yourself. There aren’t many SCRs in existence, so if you see this bike I’m sure it’s his.

Could be a plan - let me know route and likely times.

Alan, we're planning to camp at Church Farm in Sixpenny Handley on the 6th June, are you around?

Should be - having a routine retina scan just before lunch, so hopefully the drops will have worn off by then!

The campsite is a pitching wedge from my house - through the graveyard and you're there!
