My wiring cover from indicator switch into back of headlight has cracked from years od exposure and I need to figure out a way to recover the wires, any ideas? split loom? tape? what are guys doing?

Contact DEET on this forum (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) - he supplies replacement silver/grey sleeving. 

You'll need new bullet connectors, as the old ones will need removing to fit the wires through the new sleeving.

I used an old coat hanger, bent into a straight line, fishing wire and some grease to pull the wires through the new sleeving.
