Interesting info thanks. Do you think someone at sometime has tapered off the old one or does it look original factory tapered. Can see how it would try to trap the flat bearing on assembly like that.

I have several. The taper varies. But the overall length is the same.

Wish I could find more like the newest one I got.

I have one from an XS650. It has almost no taper. Similar design but it is larger in diameter and shorter.
The hours spent riding my Enduros is not deducted from my life span.
