Silencer/Pipe Outlet for CT1 factory exhaust??

Forum Gods -

I’m getting close to finishing my 69 CT1 resurrection. I need suggestions on what to do about the exhaust pipe which is, of course, missing at least the “pipe outlet” portion of the system. It’s kinda loud. Can’t find any OEM parts for this on EBay.

Any suggestions for an aftermarket or fabricated work around?? Thoughts??

Thanks in advance!

+1 on wanting to get a silencer. OK for a while but the noise going down the road gets to be a little too much. It’s odd that I’m getting hard of hearing and loud noises bother more!
Has anyone had success copying one ?

I found a nice substitute this fall for my AT1C that should work well with the CT1. Well made and good fit for cheap.

Note the outlet I posted fits within the original silencer. I was lucky to score a NOS silencer from DEET a few years back, one of the last ones he had at the time.

I have experience with one of those for an RT2. Still pretty loud on the 360, but I bet that tip in a 125/175 will cut down on the sound when "un-tipped."

I think Enduronut posted the blueprints for making one a few years ago.
