That was a very reasonable price, they are beginning to go for quite a bit of money here in the US, and UK is typically higher.
The three '71 RT1s I've sold on ebay in 2020 went for $7960, $8000, and $8300.
The RT2 value is not as strong, usually under $5k.

It was a chance find. The strange thing is, there was a 1,2&3 for sale. I looked at the 3 as I like the 3 but the chance of buying a complete bike, running that wasn't the usual "rescued from the sea " job , no contest the 1 won.
The amount of bikes I've passed up on doesn't bare thinning about. Not all for me I hasten to add.
Really, I'm back to selling a couple, or at least my GasGas.
