My 1970 HT1 —— before pics was created by northbendbob

I still have my very first motorcycle which is my 1970 HT1. My plan was to restore it to like new condition, after looking at it I think I’m just going to go with keeping it original. I have been buying parts for years I have a new old stock front fender headlight bucket, chain guard seat cover but my seat foam is shot, I need to find the stock foot pegs and rubbers, seat foam if anybody knows where to find those two things that I will need right away. Plenty of dirt on it to protect the finish right? My grandfather rode this to work in Burbank over to Lockheed, Man I remember going outside on Christmas Eve I have been saving for that motorcycle for a long long time and my grandparents through and the rest of the money and surprised me with the bike. Got no sleep that night waiting to ride it the next day, I lived across the street from the railroad tracks I did not have my license or anything but my grandparents were cool and we did not get hassled by the cops.

Your H1 looks great. I have a CT1C gold oil autolube tank that would match your bike if you need one.

Alan is correct. Only the law enforcement and health services call me Ronald (blame my parents! :Ugh :ROFLOL ).

Wondering I already have a new seat cover does anybody sell just the foam or do I need to buy everything from KDI? Also I need new tires where do I get those? Thank you everybody so much for all your help I really appreciate it
