1978,79 YZ 250 fork mods was created by Joe1028

I read about a fork mod done by Keith McCarthy on Hannas yz250E bike and wondering if this works for mortals on vintage mx tracks? Braze bleed hole and drill with a #73 bit...
or a better mod for experienced vintage mx rider..

Bought my 400F new in "79 & thought they were great as they were.
Maybe the bumps have got bigger.
Then again--Maybe we've just got older haha & need more cushion.
Hope someone can find an article that spills the beans on fork mods. Cheers.
