Hey all,
 the lights on my 1970 HT1 have quit working. I know the battery is bad. They should still work off the magneto right? Or will they only work with a good battery? Any other ideas of where i should look?

Yes they run off the mag, but depending how bad the battery is & if its dry of water or not taking a charge you'd likely blow your bulbs with a bit of a rev because in a convoluted way the battery acts as a regulator--so someone told me once. First question is did the lights go super bright last time you ran them & then expired before you turned them off. If not that, i'm lost. Cheers.
