The Australia joke was not directed at you I'm sure... sometimes when you upload large photos the website software rotates them when it reduces the size to meet the posting requirements... yours showed up upside down... hence the joke about Australia (other side of the world)

I find it best to use the "snipping tool" in Windows to save the picture before uploading... or use software to reduce the file size before uploading... doing that results in a higher quality picture post and has never flipped or rotated on me.

Welcome! and very nice bike!

Munising,
I meant no ill will. As MarkT said, I was making light of the picture being upside down. We have some members from over there and England too and sometimes a little light is made of our subtle differences. Subtle differences that don’t matter because it’s the bikes we have in common and help each other with.
I would’ve made light of you being a wolverine first! Not really, I don’t care whether you’re from up there or a worthless nut like me.

Very nice it by the way!

No ill will taken here....

Like you said, getting out and having fun on the bikes is what matters.

I am blessed to be able to ride trails almost every day from May through October

Like I said, I am old enough that I don't give a crap about stuff that doesn't matter.

Ride on and have fun!

Cross Village Michigan- located on the north tip of lake Michigan just south of Wilderness state park, at the north end of "the tunnel of trees ", and just a trail ride from heaven

Yep, you’re blessed to be there. Ohio is not big on trail riding opportunities and doesn’t like to admit it. Now if you would like to hike on flat ground and watch birds, come on down. Luckily it’s ok to cross borders still.

Should one wear a full face helmet when riding these hairy days?

It pisses me off when my I phone takes upside down or sideways photos. You'd think a $1000 phone would know better. I need to be more like you about stuff that doesn't matter.

I was in Cross village a few years ago on my road bike but can't find the photo. I do have one from up the road a ways. And BTW M119 is a great road ride.

First ride pic. Made it all the way around my tiny back yard. Obviously missing a few pieces and I'm still sorting the fuel situation, but getting close. This week it will be 2 years since I pushed it into my shop. A divorce, 2 stressful job changes and a pandemic later...

I nearly sold the project twice. Last fall I had someone willing to give me everything I had in it, about $1500 at that point, and I could have been out clean. I'm glad I kept it.
