Looking at purchasing one of the connector kits with the crimper from Vintage Connections before I start the restore of a couple of 1974 enduros, what kit does everyone recommend? Not too concerned about the price.

Just from my past experience with Vintage Connections, good quality, good stuff! I keep a supply of their connectors.

I got the CK-2 kit w/ratcheting crimp tool, and have to replenish the bullet connectors at least 5 times. Yes, the kit is great and takes the headache out of using, and then having to "see" generic butt connectors on your bike. I can't recommend their stuff enough, you'll look like a pro when your done repairing a harness.

The ratchet tool is finicky...most times the crimped terminal sticks in the tool's crimping groove, and if not careful you'll bend your brand new terminal. Especially the silver bullet terminals, which are made of a much thinner stock than the brass terminals. I use a straight pick to push the freshly crimped terminal out.
