New Member Introduction (North GA) was created by VooDoo Pistons

Hello fellow Yamaha enthusiasts!

First off, thanks for the add, especially to Mr. “B” for getting me sorted out on the IT , 125, 175, finally a 250 during the ‘80s.  In the early ‘90s I turned my attention to road bikes, primarily British stuff, but I always longed to find another Yamaha two-stroke   I contact the gentleman only to learn that it was no longer available, but he did casually mention that he had his wife’s old RT360 that he’d be willing to part with.  So, 35 years later, I finally have another Yamaha two-stroke in the stable just in time for some summer fun!As I work to recommission this bike I will need to lean heavily on the collective wisdom of this group.  Although I own several British, Italian, and even some Japanese bikes and am the Technical Director of a couple of local clubs, I have not laid hands on an old Yamaha such as this since the late ‘80s, but even then, I didn’t know what I was doing apart from the odd ring job or carburetor !-VDP
