Hey, Joel here…just discovered this great vintage enduro group and how helpful and informative it’s already been since I’m currently restoring a 1974 Yamaha DT250. I live on the Big Island of Hawaii and technical help is hard to find, especially in the vintage realm. I started riding an AT125 in the 70’s and have only now started up again…I’m sure I’ll find great tips and info in the forum. Aloha!

Re the bike, make sure that you replace both sets of brake shoes - new ones are still available from Yamaha and CMSNL and Partzilla should show the current part numbers.

Also make sure that a 6v voltage regulator has been retro fitted, unless you're converting to 12v.
