I believe the Texavina seats are made in Vietnam or somewhere outside the US...  members have used them and they are functional but different enough to obviously not be "original" if that is important to you either now or in terms of future resale value of the bike. 

Thanks for the heads up MarkT. I did see some of their seats had patterned vinyl which looked weird, but others, like their DT1 seat looked to be about right.

I've found a local upholsterer who is gonna sew a bead to match the original in the new cover I bought. If that turns out well I can just rebuild my old seat and save a few quid. Hope they make a good job of it. ;~)

Might be worth giving them the seat and the cover and having it installed.
