You don't need to "insert" or use any special functions.  Just paste the darn link!

You're overthinking it!  DON'T take off the "https" or anything.  Just PASTE.

The forum software does some kind of magic when you save the post.

I redid one of your links, I'll try the other one.

I don't know what your second link is...  you modified it so it doesn't work anymore when I re-typed with the https. 

Again, just paste without any special functions or modifications and then SUBMIT.

If you go to your images menu, click on the image and find the "bb code" version you can just paste that directly in the text field and the pic will show up inserted after you hit submit.
