LOTS of British 2 strokes about in 50's 60's and 70's. Almost too many to mention but best known probably AJS, Cotton, DOT and Greeves, most (apart from later Greeves who built their own) powered by Villiers engines, up to 410cc in the AJS Stormer.

The red bike in the black pickup above is a 64/65 Cotton Cobra powered by a 250 Villiers Starmaker engine, supposedly 24hp. Mine had electronic ignition and a 'works' pipe from factory rider and Villiers guru Fluff Brown. I sold it to make way for the SC as the Cobra was physically too small for me
