I gapped mine to 26 thou. Will see how it goes (or not).
According to my yamaha spare parts list, the standard pilot jet for the 2K4 is #25; I think mine is still standard.
And google tells me I am 100m above sea level.
Every day's a school day!

At work--yeah i worked once--i've run a heat gun on a source coil to prove a point on a difficult bike. Was a DT200R that i went out of town on with the peak voltage meter connected to the source brown. Customer said it runs for about 30 minutes then stops but restarts after left to cool for a bit. It took a bit of a distance to react but proved the point with me sitting on the side of the road waiting a while for it to repair itself lol. So back at the shop i heated the source to get the same affect & wish i'd tried that trick first.

Interesting. I’ve convinced myself my source coil is at least part of my problem and that $120 is justified to put my mind at rest and prove a point. Or not.
