I'm just restoring a 1973 RT3 360 and wondering if anyone had a cable routing diagram please?

Thanks

Might not be same exact bike, but the 74 DT360 service manual has detailed routing info for wiring/cables, etc towards back of manual. Maybe you could get some ideas from that. There may be one, but I didn't see a document for what you are asking in the 73 manual.

Pretty much all the 68-73 DT 250's and RT 360's are the same. All cables come up the right side of the frame above the front gas tank rubber puck mount. The throttle, clutch and front brake cables come up thru the space between the speedo and tachometer behind the ignition switch. The clutch cable comes up near the fuel petcock and crosses the frame under the gas tank to the other side behind the ignition coil so it can run up the same side as the tach, throttle and oil pump cable.

If you have your decompression lever mounted on the top side of the handlebar then i run that cable thru the area behind the speedo and top triple clamp then down below the lower triple clamp right behind the horn thru the frame to the decompression valve mounted on the cylinder. Some guys mount the lever on the underside like on the RT2 so you can run the cable between the gauges with the others.( see image of the RT2 below) Not my bike.

Be sure to leave the cables loose so they can move freely under the gas tank when your moving the steering full left and right. You can use some Yamaha metal tie bands to hold them up in place but not tight against the frame. You should have a piece of foam that goes on the rear of the backbone frame and taped on.

It's a little hard getting the gas tank rubber pucks over the cables when sliding the tank on but be sure the cables run above the mount so when the gas tank is on the cables can move freely back and forth under the gas tank.  You can check them with your hand once the tank is mounted.

All electrical wires come up the left side of the frame to the headlight bucket.

I included a couple picture of a RT3 i was restoring years ago to get a look at the routing.
