That was a good buy for a running decent 68 DT1. I could have done alot with that bike but retirement is in full swing.

I didn't think it sounded too healthy in the video but audio can bring out all sorts of worrying noises. Maybe i shouldn't have the headphones on. Sounds like a lot of money but i live in a different world i guess. Hope you can still buy the speedo & small tacho rubber surrounds, looks odd without them--small point though. I guess it's a very early one looking at the numbers, hence the value.

If seller backed out, hopefully buyer doesn't get burned by BaT.  If you know who the buyer is, have them contact BaT right away.  It has been known to happen that BaT tries to keep the 5% fee they take from the buyer even if seller doesn't sell... so it's important to let BaT know about the seller's lack of response immediately.

That's one of the issues with BaT...  they really can't/won't do anything if seller backs out.  They already have the seller's fees, the "real money" BaT makes is the 5% buyer's fee and they don't consider it "their problem" if the deal isn't actually completed.  They also usually have no way to know if the deal did actually go through so they can be reluctant to refund the buyer.

Fortunately most people are honest and most sellers follow through.

Blimey. So the seller thought it was worth more!!. That's if the deal doesn't go through.

It looks nice frtom my sofa here in the UK but 15000 of any currency is 7.5K too much. The sale of most Yam enduros has slowed down here and prices are going Southward.

I was just on the auction site and it does look like the buyer is having trouble getting the seller to respond. Seems crazy as his business name is on a sign in the pics…
