STICKY STICKLER FOR INFORMATION was created by asco

Guy’s and Gals. I read some of these posts and honestly if the originator of the thread does not disclose the year, make and model of the bike they’re asking about, personally I don’t reply.

It should be required to at least have one dedicated line in each 1st. post telling the group what we’re referring to?

I saw this yesterday, and thought, nope not indulging myself in guesswork..

Thanks again for making this forum user friendly……

Personaly i don't mind & like guessing haha.
No, i just look at their previous post if they have some, to get a handle on the bike--which doesn't always work if they've changed bikes.
Fair point though.
But i guess in the excitement of joining this great forum, things get forgotten.
Don't want to frighten them off right at the start--just saying.

I came to this forum and became addicted to these bikes because I can be uninformed and sometimes unintentionally stupid without anyone coming down on me like a BMW forum if you know what I mean! I would call my DT1E a DT250 and I was politely corrected and educated early on. Most recently I had a few too many pops, did some eBay piston shopping and was politely told that I was nuts so I course corrected!...it was great IMO

I am only a participant, so getting one vote by anyone else is a blessing. I see multiple bikes being advertised on Craig’s List, very little description and a lot of hoping going on. But we have a great little community here where we respect each other’s opinions, that is paramount.

If I deleted every post that did not list the bike, we’d loose readers.

help each other regardless if you can………….
