The carburetor mount studs were shortened after carb manifold was trimmed to half thickness when 30mm carb was installed. I plan to put bike back to original configuration with 26mm carb & OEM carb manifold.
Threaded studs are not shown on parts diagram, does anyone have a source for "normal" length carb mount bolts?
Thanks

Just wondering with the GYT/MX head - with increased compression, has the cylinder been ported? Might run better with something bigger than standard?

Haven't removed head & cylinder yet for closer inspection, I thought interesting PO installed most of the "go fast" options but didn't change cylinder. I'm going back original with this 68 dt1 including lights, etc., but the next 68 in queue will get all GYT bits.
Thanks

Nice to have the yam 30mm carb for a gyt kit. You probably have the attached, anyway if not, it might give you clues to (if ported) what has been done or not.

I downloaded from the web and think it is July 70 - I enjoy all these old articles too.
