UK Twinshock Model Information

Exactly when DTs were officially imported into the UK/Europe has not been confirmed, although the 1973 season seems most likely as it is the first year trail bikes appeared in the UK model catalogue.  Although this shows the AT3 and CT3 with UK specific tail lights, small numbers of which were definitely imported, the vast majority sold that year were Europeanised versions of the 1973 North American range and all appear to have come with 21” front wheels.  UK/European bikes have different model codes/designations to those from North America, even if the differences are only minor and they share many common parts.   The only UK/European DTs with a suffix that have been identified are the DT125E (model 1G0) and the DT125 (model 1F9) which is referred to as a DT125F on occasions.
