250 and 350 timing dial gauge mount was created by bhepp15

Putting in new points and crank seal on my dt3 and realized I had no way to mount my dial gague. Looking online I didn’t see any solutions then I remembered I have a 3D printer at home. So I decided to design and build my own mount. Here it is, it works great and holds the gauge real steady. I used the head stud for mounting and a couple 15mm wrenched haha

Great job. These modern tricks & technology bypassed 'me'. Son tells me you can get stuff printed at our Library in town. Came home with a toothed wide plastic band for an electric motor to drive on to alter a camera focus. Cost next to nothing done to his design & measurements. love your job!!.

Thank you! Yeah I go to school for engineering so I have the 3D design software and bought myself a printer last year. Haven’t used it too much lately so I was happy to have a good reason to take it out!

You may need to make a few extra.. I can see that’d be a great gizmo even for my tool chest.. I can’t imagine how that stuff works… heck, I’m still amazed how a thermos keeps hot liquids hot!
