What’s this switch fit? was created by Pedalcrazy

I accidentally bought this NOS light/horn switch for my 68 DT1 but then I see it has a turn signal switch too. It is obviously for the 68-70 bikes but which ones? Who could use this switch? NOS with gray sheathing soft and flexible. Help with identification! PM me if wanting this for your restoration. Or email directly. This email address is being protected from spambots. That switch was fitted to Australasian models ( and probably JDM ) up to 73 .
I don't think they ever appeared on US models , as once the indicators were fitted as new ,
the US market got the 233 prefix switch .
Thinking back though . It may have been available as an option in US , in the early years ,
when the indicators themselves were an option .

There is a thread on this forum discussing that switch. I'd love to have it but maybe list what you're trying to get for it.

JT1 might have used it too?  Not sure.

Nice find

Thanks so far guys...JDM or something else international seemed possible. Something early with flashers either as standard equipment or optional. If optional then the main harness may have to be changed to utilize a flasher...seems extreme so maybe just bikes that came with flashers from Yamaha. I'm not familiar with what the 69-70 AT, CT, DT and RT bikes use for this switch or even if signals were standard on those years. My RT1B has signals but a totally different switch.

Thank you and all info welcome!

I think the wiring looms were prewired to accommodate flasher and indicators .
My 69 DT1 came so equipped , despite being a year or two before indicators fitted
as standard in US .

Yes, early AT1's and CT1's were prewired for signals as well.

Clearing some surplus parts and thought I would offer this switch up to the forum members before putting on ebay.
It's NOS and is one of the rare early model switches with flasher switch.
I think it's for a JT2 but will fit the first gen bikes, '68-70, AT1, CT1 etc.
£150 plus shipping.
All the best, Pete

Yes, pretty rare Pete - I've only ever seen one other one on fleabay.

Part number suggests that it was originally fitted to a 1970 FT1J for Europe, Japan and others. I had to goggle for pictures and it appears to be a 50cc mini enduro.
