Hi everyone I am new here and am new to working on DT’s always wanted one when I was a kid ran across one in pretty nice shape but the wiring was hacked up can someone tell me if a harness from a 1974 DT360 will work on a 1976 DT250 ?

Some of it will work. But the ignition won’t since the DT360 uses a CDI and the DT250 used points.
I make new wiring harnesses. I also make an adapter that allows a points ignition to be used on a DT360.

Could it be made to work? Probably. One big difference is 360 had CDI and 250 has points.
It wouldn't be worth the hassle to me unless maybe it was free and I had the time to figure it out and not enough $ to get the correct one.
I'd contact member DEET here... he makes new harnesses for most models. Much better than messing with old used or even "NOS".

The adapter harness isn’t expensive.
I stopped posting photos of my designs because there are folks out there that are stealing them. Then they exploit it for their financial gain.
