WOW I got a call today from Jemco and they said they were shipping my new pipe today for my 1978 dt400.  They have a good staff and are really getting stuff done fast at the moment.

They got it done in a week. AWESOME

I orderd the up-pipe and its polished metal and they say it looks like chrome. It is a two piece pipe with removable and serviceable silencer.
And I have new Wiseco piston comming and will have Rich Clam do the porting.

If you call Greg at Jemco he will hook you up
502-650-7744.  I had told Greg that I dont think many realize that they make a pipe for the bike and that I would put the word out.
They have the up pipe and the down pipe.

It looks great!! If you ever get a chance to make a video of it once you get it running I'm sure I'm not the only one that would love to hear it.

I will post a video once it's back together. It's getting bored to a 465cc wiseco and being ported and will be running a new 34mm lectron carb.

Pipe looks great, hope it stays shiny. Can we have More info please, it's getting very interesting. 465 piston is 85mm same as your 400 so still 400cc & just get to 465cc by extending the stroke. I 'think' the piston pin height is different & lower in the piston so wonder if they're going to put a plate under the cylinder to give a long rod affect [if I'm right & if that works-lot of ifs] but cc stays the same. Sorry waffling but curious & Rich Clams work is always interesting. I'm wondering so I'll post it then read it to edit as bigger letters. Thanks. ps expensive exhaust?, doesn't look cheap but I'll bet he gets more requests off here.
