Bore on my 1971 rt-1 360 was created by Tdip92

Im looking to get my 1971 rt-1 360 bored and new piston. I was wondering if there was a good recommendation for how much over to go? Whats too much? Is there a sweet spot? Also looking for an aftermarket exhaust for it, as I read they're power killers on these bikes. I can make a separate post but if anyone has any recommendations on where to buy or someone that makes them please let me know!

The shop that does the boring should determine how much needs to be removed and which oversize piston to use. I recommend not going past the second oversize. The cylinder liner will be too thin. The cylinder liner on the 360 is 4mm thick when on the standard bore. The 250 is 5mm. The 360 generates more heat. I had 2 liners separate from the cylinder and develop air leaks near the bottom on 2 of my RT3s when they went to the third oversize.

I have NOS cylinders and pistons if you need. Send me a PM.
