Thanks HT1KID, glad you could see the pics of the bike, hoping MarkT can . Im gonna try to post an image instead of a link . it was a good feeling when it started right up and runs so good. this forum and all the great people here and especially MarkT are the best .

Hi HT1KID,
one of the old triumphs nearing completion is a 1966 6TA Thunderbird, the other is a 1970 TR6R , both are matching numbers bikes . I also have a 1973 Bonneville T140V and a 1967 TR6C . I've got hooked on the triumphs back in the late 70's . Very enjoyable bikes , always like the look of them and the great sound . The 1970 TR6R is a bit of a custom , different seat and a 2 into 1 pipe that sets off car alarms
