The chart is for stud/bolt sizes with standard I.S.) pitch threads. For bolts with other thread pitches, consult your manual. Torque specs call for clean, dry threads. Components such as the cylinder or cylinder head should be at room temperature prior to torquing. Components with multiple fasteners such as a cylinder head should be torque down in a cross-hatch pattern in successive stages until torque specification is reached.
