Yes we are a team (family) with the love of old Yamaha enduros helping anyway we can and learning to get our 2 strokes on the roads or trails again.  Reliving our youth again Wouldn’t want it any other way!!!

You found an RT3. They keep turning up. Wish we had a seemingly endless supply down here. I like the RT1tank better too. Be carefull starting it--or be forceful starting it or it'll bite back. Show it who's boss lol.

Here's a little sneak peek hehe.

I think this winter I'm planning on taking it down to the frame. Then I have the perfect excuse to buy a sandblaster! Poor me! But yes I'm tossin and turnin about what to do with the tank. I think I'll try to source an RT3 tank so that the bike is all one color. I like the RT1's I think better but I won't complain about finally getting an RT. I've literally seen one other one up here in SD and my roommate bhepp15 just got it like a week ago. And that sucker with surely blow your leg off if you pussyfoot around.

I did it! I think... My front tire is looking a little sorry these days. I have the new front tire and tube ready to go so I'll probably try and do that tomorrow. Anyway, I got the clutch adjustment. I found this video linked below since the forum posts were helping me out that much, but I found it why pretty quick. My lock nut on the adjustment threads was on the COMPLETE WRONG SIDE. And I had no idea it supposed to be any different. Once that was fixed, I literally got adjusted my first attempt. So that was awesome. But I'm just pretty sure I got it, I didn't really give it much since the tire is flat. The clutch lever however is very tight and I don't know how to change that without undoing all my clutch progress. But it works so I really can't complain that much. I guess this means I have to start fixing everything else on it... Definitely needs a carb tune now. Mid July was very hot and now it's 50 degrees out lol.

Anyway here's a really good video on changing and and adjusting the later models clutch:
