This is a one of my earlier projects, it was found under the remnants of a collapsed shed that had been left for years so was in a terrible state when I got it. Everything either seized or rusted. I don't have any before photo's but this is it when I finished it.

Hi DT-Steve985, thanks for your interest, this on took me around six months to do and I enjoyed every minute. This is my hobby in retirement. I later found out that this bike was originally converted and raced by Chris Pearson. editor of classic bike magazine here in the UK, he said that because it was a 250 single cylinder, it could be raced in the 125 class as they were twin cylinders. He only raced it for a short while as he was waiting for his new LC race Yamaha to come. I might have some more photo's of projects if anyone want's to see them.

That's awesome ! I have been collecting old Yammies for years now, with the intent of building and moving them to acquire funds for a true custom. Of course every Yamaha I touch I want to keep lol. This one is a beauty thanks for sharing. For sure be interested in more pics and more details.
