Buddy Seat Luggage Rack 1970-1973 DT250, RT360?

I am selling a what I believe is a 1970-1973 DT250-RT360 Buddy Seat Luggage Rack, I say this as I am not familiar with those models and am solely basing the fitment on what I was told by the previous owner. Please verify fitment or maybe someone here will chime in on definite fitment. It is in decent rider quality shape, I have no mounting hardware, $250.00 + plus shipping out of Pensacola Florida. I think that is the earlier one. I bought this NOS rack a couple years ago for my DT3 and learned that it didn't fit. Was told mine is for the later years (1974-1976) I hope.

I bid it up for you....just me and another bidder at the end. I just bought the exact same setup in NOS on Ebay not more than two weeks ago so didn't want to go any higher. The seller on mine also had $25 for shipping but cost him $68. Hope your buyer is closer!

Thank you I appreciate it, I figured it was the same pedalcrazy on eBay and this forum when I checked on the bidders, I shipped it out today and it came out to $28.55 it is going to New York, the guy messaged me a few days ago and wanted me to confirm it will fit his 1977 DT400, I told him numerous times NO, it will not fit his bike. I guess we will see what happens?

screenshot any messages to back that up in case he files a claim. That one is the pre-75-76 buddy seat, note the mount difference in Mike8162’s post which is correct for the 75-76 bikes. The 77-79 bikes use one like on my DT400 - different animal.

Thank You for the advice, all the messages are on the eBay message service to back it up. I have sold items on eBay for many years, not to sound mean but unfortunately it seems sometimes you have to describe items for sale as if you are not dealing with the brightest bulb in the box, in this case I don’t think the gentleman’s grasp of the English language and grammar were up to par. Hopefully it works out for him if not he can send it back and I will gladly refund him, will just end up a waste of his and my time.
