Well don't know about the states,and id be checking part numbers here but both TYs iv'e had,both a 175 and a really early 250 both had polished alloy wheel rims. I've ridden trials competitively up until two years ago from being 14 years old and have categorically never had a trials bike with chrome rims.That would mean they're steel .Some ones pulling a fast one there my old tater .Think you might call that bull shit in the US.
