I am as of this time running a TY250 reed cage in my 175 which had to be modified to fit this cage.I have been trying to find a VForce cage that I can retro fit into the intake. All the ones I have found with the correct flange and bolt holes are way too wide to fit into the intake. I don’t think there is enough material there to fit what I am finding from VForce to work. Has anyone done this modification? Seems to be a no brainer to me.

Yes I have done some v force conversions onn the 175. I use a banshee reeds with a spacer also to get the cage back far enough due to the taper of the port , and yes the opening must be opened up alot . But before I grind it out I epoxy both sides of the nanifold area on the out side , when done widening you barely break out to the epoxy. Id you hve questions give me a call 702-858-9177
