I bought these with hopes of riding with some friends who have big bikes about 6 years ago.    The DT400B would really get a workout trying to keep up with a Rocket III and a ZX1100.But we never get out together anymoe.They are both 1983s, a KZ1100 and a Spectre 1100.  The KZ gets the most use, I am spoiled by the Windjammer at speed.  They are both in very good condition and start, run very well, the Spectre is stupid fast (for me anyhow).  They both seep a bit of oil from the upper gaskets sometimes but that's OK for now.

Here is one of my "other" 2 stroke - I'll never part with this one until I have to. 

I remember the Kawy triple being roadraced here & fearsome they were too. Had a hinge in the middle & used to fishtail on the limit of control around the circuit.

Back in the 70's my sisters boyfriend (then husband forever) had a kawasaki 350 2 stroke streetbike.  I was 15 years old or so and he let me ride it often.  He and his brother bought them brand new, his brother had the 500 which I never got to ride.  I remember the 350 was very quick and I remember I had it going 90 mph with someone on the back!  It was red.
The good old days.
That 350 sat in his basement for years, unused, I shoulda' coulda' woulda' got that thing...
