Hey ! YES, Dave and I will be there camping in the same general area.
Dave entered in Hooligan class,  Johnny will be in the vintage class again.
I'm putting together a minibike now to use as a pit bike.
Look for a white Ford Ranger truck with an open red trailer.*

hi rick ... great ... not racing or riding the dt1 this year ... i'll be out there on friday and plan on bringing some hodakas and/or my triBSA ... come to think of it since you're taking out a minibike maybe i should bring my 1968 powell ... see you out there.

Hey Dez, My minibike pit bike won't be going as of tonight. Carb issues and no time to fix it with all the million things to do before a race and tent camping. ugh. Race bike is ready tho... leaving around 6am and need to make some stops, ice at our ice house, and Stators in Mojave for some good thick steaks for Dave and me. ( 2 in.thick Ribeye sounds good. ) Love Stator Bros butcher shop !!
Johnny loaned me a little 100 that's legal out there.So I'm bringing that to kick around and make it easier to get to the.
blue room ,Driver meetings, stage, etc.
Just might be tee shirt weather out there ! Gonna be way cool.!

hi rick - plans got messed up ... refrigerator broke and we need to be here friday to take delivery of the replacement ... so we'll now be out there saturday morning instead of friday (bummer) .... see you out there

Y’all have fun !! when I worked at Butler’s our pit bike was a JT1 mini enduro with a CT1 engine talk about a fun bike it was awesome. Be careful

And so it begins.... # 59 Dave Schwartz ( forum member, " The Greenie " ) in his first ever Desert race.

 

 

Dave placed 5th in his class. around 240th overall outta 400 plus riders.
