To be brutally honest with you... I'm a Yamaha guy too but from what you described I would not think twice about buying it and reselling hopefully for a profit and put that money towards a Yamaha... Yes I'm a Yamaha guy but I would not pass up the chance to make some easy $$$$$$$

Having a title is attractive, but street parts are hard to find for Suzy's if you want to go original.

At that price? Just the exhaust or engine are worth more than that.

jerryd69,

Back in the day, the TS400 Cyclone was responsible for more broken bones than anything but the original Yamaha SC500 with the stock ignition that changed timing like a light switch...

MX version... the early TM400 Cyclone had the deserved bad rep... lightweight flywheel, wacky ignition advance with a mind of its own, and too much power for the frame are frequently cited as the major issues

I have a 73 and 74 TS400 Apache. Major design change in 74. Best thing about the TS400 is the engine.

I would buy it and pay to have it shipped from where ever it is. That's a great price.
