RT2 power improvements

All good info if you can find parts but the RT2MX pipe crosses over the head so be careful as won't fit without alterations. Frame was made taller in the motor area--or motor was lowered to give that clearance depending how you think of it. RT1MX pipe will fit for sure as is basicaly the same frame.
RT2MX cylinder & head bolts straight on anything from RT1 to RT3.
In NZ we weren't lucky enough to be able to buy RT2MX parts as a kit--or didn't even know that was an option--but as soon as the genuine mx'er "RT2MX" arrived we all shelved our earlier model trail or converted trail bikes & those newer models flooded the start line everywhere. I remember being passenger in a mates van freezing with no heater & open vents trying to block them off as we drove to the importer to get the first three in the country, 2x DT2MX for me & him & an RT2MX for my Boss. Great times & great memories. Man we thought it was Xmas when they arrived--so Merry Xmas everyone. Now i've forgotten the question lol.

I had a new '72 RT2 360MX back in the day. Very fast with a quick power band. I don't think I could handle it now.
The hours spent riding my Enduros is not deducted from my life span.
