After market coil for 1971 Yamaha 360 rt was created by Al-Giorgetti

I’m in need of a coil for my 1971 Yamaha 360 rt. Is their a aftermarket coil for this?

Anything like this will work if you can mount it on the frame. Just a single wire 6volt AC coil. Main thing is to be sure its a coil issue & not just dirty points etc. They're a pretty reliable system but then again were 50+ years on--!!

Thanks that’s exactly what I’m looking for. And thank you yes I’m new here. I’m original owner, the bikes been sitting since 1974 and stored inside. 1971 360 rt with 2646 miles.

Not a common part to go bad...  especially if you are original owner and all. 

No spark is usually just dirty points.

Original owner & sitting since "74. Gosh, trying to get my head around that. Top marks for keeping it all these years & bringing it back to life. Not sure pics are loading lately but be great to see oneday.
